1. Two fewer than last month (and probably far fewer than we would like to think)

2. It would make sense if your windows were boarded up, but given your distance from Rita, I wouldn’t expect you to be that cautious.

3. Yes.  Unfortunately, it’s not covered by your HMO.

4. It doesn’t.  From a practical standpoint, unless you are doing it to become informed on some topic that requires action on your part, you’d be better off re-reading “Walden”

5. Both.  As a man of the earth, I would expect you to realize that the old underbrush must be cleared out before the new plantings can take hold.

1.  I’m betting that this one might just do it, if it works hard.

2.  Because someone told him that you needed the company.

3.  They do, but the side effects are awful.

4.  The news only serves to enhance a depressed mood, but if that’s what you’re going for, it can be really great. 

5.  Neither.  It merely means that you need music with which to fill the emptiness.  I can help with that.

um, keithy? this MIGHT be appropriate, acatually, but I think time is out of joint again.

I was coming in to post an update to my own scrine:  Go, if need be. Valdosta. Friday. Drive to the motel reservation I just made, with no internet, I don’t think, but cheap and available.  I’ll keep in touch.
